Via LAist come these neat interactive charts from the Census Bureau offering a graphical representation of some of the millions (billions?) of data points its collected over the years. A few of the charts are a bit ho-hum–a word cloud of the 20 biggest cities in the country may not shock and amaze you–but there’s something sure to delight all you data nerds. And so, on the day the census bureau announced LA county’s population is projected to hit 9.9 million this year, take a look at a few graphs showing how we got here.
